Mexico 2012

Playa Del Carmen – Tulum

We woke up at 8:30 and the sun shined again. We could sleep pretty good and it was quite warm inside the dorm.

We started our day at the Office of Immigration to get some information about the documents needed to move and work in Mexico. There were many people waiting but we got some information quite quickly.

We left Playa and took the road back to Tulum. On the road we stopped at a Cenote. This site was great with 3 different Cenotes; 1 shallow with turtles, 1 deep next to the cave with many fishes, 1 bigger and colder inside the caves with fishes. I had a swim and got a natural fish pedicure before to head back to Tulum.

Thomas had the same room ready for us, so we checked in and decided to book 4 nights and went to Chedraui for supplies and food for the night. Jerome and his family were still at the same place and Deborah was sunbathing on the beach. When we came back from town, Thomas announced they had an internal problem and the hotel would be closed for the night. Not sure what happened, but it seems like they are not allowed to run the hotel business and the land belongs to federal property. Anyway, nothing happened except the staff wasn t there and the restaurant and bar were closed for the night.

We went to sleep early after watching the moon rise from the sea.

Another day chilling out in paradise…
