Akumal and snorkeling

We stood up and took the car to Akumal, a natural reserve on the coast between Tulum and Playa Del Carmen.

The weather was great and I went snorkeling. At the beginning, the beach was sandy and one could observe giant turtles.

After about 50 meters, the reef was revealing itself with different species of fishes. It was wonderful.

I went back to the beach where Revaz had a rest and we decided to head to Chedraui for some food and snorkeling glasses for Revaz. I ate Chinese at the Chedraui and Revaz got a delicious desert. We headed back to Akumal and had a swim together. Unfortunately, it wasn t as nice as in the morning as fishes were hiding and the sky was scattered.

We went back to Diamante and many people arrived and checked in.
